Well, life is obviously not about the art for me right now... hard to believe I've been absent for so long! Hubby and I are 18 weeks pregnant with our first baby - a son as we found out yesterday!

Sorry to be such a stranger. Life shifted gears on me there, and shows no sign of slowing down. Its all good though. I am getting ready to get married, trying to have a baby, redecorating the house, and working 2 jobs Yeah, when it rains it pours. My life has always been seasonal anyway. Art happens in Winter when I can't garden and work outside. Now I have 130 trees to tend and many, many plants to nurture - as they are the decorations for my upcoming wedding!

Well, hello wonderful artists and art lovers! Life is so crazy sometimes, is it not?? I am in employment limbo right now... Unemployment has run out, I have only found part time work, and my medical disability has stilllllll not been processed... Of course it's only been what - 7 months since they received my discharge packet... Moving at the speed of beurocracy! Thank goodness I'm not dieing or something, they'd end up mailing my checks to my grave. But oh well, I only gave 9 years of my life to my country, what more can I expect, grumble, grumble, grumble....

Sorry, just venting. I am sure it will turn out just fine... somehow. It seems like something always comes through just in the nick of time!

OK! The Fairy Bride has been renamed Ramona, after my sister - the model. It is done, and I am happy with it. Thanks to the many friends who helped get me through my artist's block. It's totally different than it started out to be, which I love. I love when pieces evolve and take on a will of their own. "I don't want to be what you want me to be - I want to be this other thing..." OK! I have learned to submit - because they're always right - not me!

And to those nit pickers, I apologize if there are any rough edges or such, just keep in mind it's all done with a stinkin' mouse which is not an easy tool to squeeze precision out of

OK, Other than the fact that I haven't worked on the corset yet, please help me figure out what is wrong with The Fairy Bride 2 (featured deviation). I have been staring so long it no longer makes any sense to me.
